For close to 20 years Neil has directed, produced and edited award winning commercials, TV shows and corporate videos for Alias Wavefront, Canada Post, Rogers, Lexus, Honda, Volvo, CIBC, BMO, Foresters, Microsoft, Nortel, RBH, Phizer, GSK, Abbott, Janssen, Xerox, OLG, and Vincor, to name a few.

Most recently, Neil won gold at the NY Festivals for his work on Inniskillin's 'Ice Wine'.


Richard Peirce

Richard's work as director/producer/editor began in 1993, quickly garnering awards through his many innovative projects.

His work has helped to raise the bar for clients as diverse as Altamira, Universal Music, Lions Gate Films, Canada Post, TVA Films, Nortel Networks, Sony, Abbott, Pfizer, Nike, Inniskillin, Xerox, OLG, CIBC and many others.

Richard's experience as a member of Canada's Olympic Freestyle Ski Team has served him well in his broadcast work, helping him to create shows such as Kokanee Kross Snowboarding (TSN), Skiers World (US), Accord Triathlon (TSN), and Acura World of Golf (TSN).  Richard also edited the pilot for the CTV show Jeff Ltd., helping the producers secure the show for it's first season.

Whether creating movie trailers, corporate video, broadcast television or commercials, Richard brings a fresh approach and a signature Chopper vision to every project.


Colin Richards

Producer

Colin brings a solid background in commercial production to Chopper. Colin's expertise has served him well working in a variety of production and postproduction positions. He has steadily built a reputation as an essential resource who understands the complex play between accountability and creativity.

Colin has produced many successful projects for clients such as Thermablade, I'coo, Wrigleys, Nortel, Foresters, Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Acura, to name a few.


Doug Ross

Post Production Coordinator

After completing studies at Ryerson University and Sheridan College, Doug cut his teeth as an assistant editor. One of his first projects at Chopper was assistant editor on the classic ‘straight to DVD' feature, Partners in Action! Doug works with all our clients to ensure that post-production runs smoothly and that all projects are archived and ready for future updating. With a background in the restaurant business, Doug is also the official Chopper Sommelier!


Michel Bisson, csc

Director of Photography

Michel started his career at Global News at the age of nineteen. Since then he's worked as a freelance cameraman with the CBC in Montreal and Toronto. He's spent the past 20 years traveling the world shooting film and video for a wide range of projects – feature films, commercials, corporate video, and sports television. Michel is a pioneer in the high definition video market. He has owned and operated a high definition camera for more than 7 years.


Peter O'Neil

Motion Graphics Designer

Peter is one of Canada's foremost digital artists. For over 10 years, Peter has produced animated segments for corporate, commercial, feature films and television. His work has garnered numerous awards for both design and technical achievement.


Michael Krauss

Motion Graphics Designer

Michael Krauss thrives on creative challenge - both a photographer and motion graphics designer, he finds inspiration from urban decay to scenic landscapes, from motion graphics to typography. His style is comparable to none – always exceeding client expectation and discovering new insight at all turns.

With a degree in graphic design, Michael headed to Vancouver where he owned and operated a corporate/industrial photography studio for five years. After much success, Michael returned to his home in Montreal to further his education, and put his design and photographic skills to use in the communications and entertainment industry. After a move to Toronto, Michael joined CTV as a Broadcast Designer, Department Head for CTV News in Toronto.

Michael has garnered several awards for his motion graphics work and always sets his sights on a new challenge.
